I just wanted to knock the entry from November off my front page ... declaring daily updates then failing at the very next day does not make me feel good. Of course I've just negated the removal by commenting on it right at the top of this entry, but er ... nevermind.

Summer plans: I have none. I seem to have put my costuming stuff on the back burner. I can't afford to do my Elizabethan dress right now (and the farthingale ticked me off). I also somehow ended up doing my POTC costume entirely by hand, which I didn't intend, and now I don't feel like hand sewing so ... bleh. It's sitting on Bessie-the-dummy in the porch scaring off anyone who might steal our post.

The sewing's out, but I've moved into a knitting mood. I've been spending loads of time at Ravelry, and I'm knitting my first jumper. It's growing pretty quickly, which surprised me. It'd grow faster if I stopped making stupid mistakes that force me to rip it back two rows.

I'd really like to have a summer project (that I finish), but I think I'll just have to wait and see if some inspiration creeps up on me.
